Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume in the USA, hinted in a recent announcement that it has added QCAD to its listing roadmap. As we have mentioned several times before, Coinbase often adds altcoins to its roadmap before making an official listing announcement and keeps investors informed about the process. This pre-listing-like process does not guarantee that the altcoin will be listed, but most often, it does get listed.
Coinbase Roadmap
According to the announcement made by the exchange, QCAD has been added to the Coinbase listing roadmap. The listing could happen within a few days or might extend up to a month. Generally, altcoins added to the roadmap are listed within three days. In exceptional cases, the process can extend to 7-10 days, and a few altcoins have remained on the list for over a month before an official listing announcement was made.
Now, Coinbase will work to make a final decision regarding the altcoin it has preliminarily approved, and if there are no issues, we will see QCAD listed. An additional announcement will be made for the listing.
Bitcoin price, at the time of writing, remains below $63,000, and altcoins continue the day in red.
