The most famous and enigmatic figure in the cryptocurrency world is Satoshi Nakamoto, the individual behind Bitcoin $92,327. Nobody knows who he is, and it remains uncertain whether the name Satoshi is real or a pseudonym. However, a new HBO documentary claims to have identified and will reveal his identity.
Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?
The upcoming HBO documentary asserts that it has uncovered the identity of Bitcoin’s founder. This documentary is produced by Cullen Hoback, known for exposing the authors of the QAnon conspiracy theory with his series “Q: Into the Storm.” It is set to air next Tuesday evening. With a market value of a trillion dollars and significant growth, Bitcoin has now become a global investment instrument.
There are BTC ETFs trading on U.S. exchanges, and trillion-dollar financial firms have issued these products. Furthermore, blockchain technology is now considered a significant area of development, ranging from governments to major corporations.
In addition to these details, it is known that Satoshi owns 1.1 million Bitcoins. If he is alive and his identity is confirmed, Nakamoto would rank among the richest individuals globally with a net worth of $66 billion.
Hal Finney
It remains unknown who HBO will declare as Nakamoto, but the most significant suspect is the deceased Hal Finney. Other names with lower likelihood include computer scientist Nick Szabo and Hashcash inventor Adam Back. Previously, when Craig Wright was in the spotlight, Peter McCormack stated;
“There have been endless speculations for years. Until someone signs the private keys associated with Satoshi’s addresses, all this remains mere assumption. Satoshi gave the world a great gift with Bitcoin and wanted to remain anonymous. This should be respected, and irresponsibly trying to unveil his mystery is dangerous.”
