In 2021, there was a significant increase in participation in the Ethereum 
$2,513 ecosystem due to the rally that took place. Airdrop events, which emerged during this period, have changed the lives of many people. However, due to the increasing number of participants in these events called airdrop farms, a strict policy has been implemented regarding airdrop criteria. According to this method, a user can approve a transaction performed on the Layer-2 network from hundreds of wallets in the same month through smart contracts they have written. The main responsibility in transactions made with this method lies with the platform teams. In the Optimism airdrop event, so-called “sybil wallets” that are counted as multi wallets lost their airdrop rights, but this did not happen in the case of Arbitrum. Many platforms have started taking precautions regarding this controversial incident.

What is Humanity Score?
With the pointing system called Humanity Score, users can prove that their Web3 wallets belong to a real person by connecting their wallets to the platform. Wallets with a score above 20 are freed from being considered “sybil” when the criteria determined by the platform are met. My score is currently 34.57, and this score will allow me to participate in a possible airdrop event.
The tasks performed include connecting a Twitter account, connecting a LinkedIn account, owning an Ethereum Name Service domain, owning an NFT, and verifying a ZkSync account. Especially the verification of a ZkSync account could be a criterion for the airdrop event to be conducted by ZkSync.
The most important aspect to note here is that the team offers a different scoring system for each criterion. For example, a person with a multi wallet cannot fulfill the “Twitter” criterion by creating a new Twitter account. The Twitter account must have been created at least 180 days ago, and for it to receive full points, the account must have been open for at least two years. While such criteria may pose a challenge for new wallets, it ensures a fairer system for airdrop events.
The most important point to consider here is to check the platform at least once a month. This is because points can be reset with each update, and this can lead to a significant loss of tokens in a possible airdrop event and even worse, your wallet being considered as a sybil.
