The popular crypto analyst updated his perspective on Bitcoin (BTC), the flagship of the markets, while expressing his bullish expectations for an altcoin in the top 10. The senior analyst also renewed his predictions for Solana (SOL).
Analyst Claims a 600% Increase for Solana
Known as Altcoin Sherpa, the crypto analyst started with the leading smart contract platform Solana (SOL), telling his followers on social media platform X that the fifth-largest cryptocurrency by market value could gain roughly 250% to 600% in value this cycle. The senior analyst stated the following:
SOL will cleanly break its all-time highs this cycle, the only question is how high. $500 is likely, a level like $1000 seems out of the question to me. Still one of my biggest bags. Next level to watch is $170.
According to the analyst’s chart, after breaking above $140, the next major resistance levels for the Ethereum (ETH) competitor are around $174 and $202. Solana, which reached an all-time high of $260 in November 2021, was trading at $142 at the time of writing.
Bitcoin Targeted to Reach $70,000
Moving on to the leading cryptocurrency, Altcoin Sherpa predicted a significant fluctuation in the short term, but ultimately a six-figure price tag in this cycle. According to the analyst’s chart, Bitcoin is expected to drop just below $70,000 before potentially falling to $62,000 in the near future. The senior analyst stated:
Bitcoin will reach $100,000 this cycle, and these short-term movements are blinding on the radar. Don’t lose your deck when we’re this close to the finish line.
Bitcoin was trading at $67,478, with a slight increase in the last 24 hours at the time of writing.
