Binance Announces Ukraine Initiative
The war in Ukraine is exacting a heavy humanitarian toll, especially on civilians, including children. As indicated by Binance, since the beginning of the conflict, there have been more than 10,670 civilian deaths, which has made the need for support and rehabilitation for children even more urgent.
In response to this urgent situation, Binance Charity has partnered with the Children of Heroes Foundation to launch the “I Am da Vinci” therapy camp, aimed at helping children who have lost their parents.
The collaboration between Binance Campus and Children of Heroes Foundation aims to increase the survival chances of war victims by providing a compassionate and supportive network. At the heart of this initiative is the belief that every child deserves love and security in the face of adversity.
Psychological Support to be Provided for Children
Kyrylo Khomiakov, Binance CEE and Central Asia Regional Head, emphasized their organization’s commitment to supporting initiatives that alleviate the suffering of these vulnerable children and rekindle their hopes.
Children participating in the camp will have the opportunity to express themselves through various creative activities. In addition, essential psychological counseling services will be provided to support the children in processing their emotions and coping with traumatic experiences.
Rebuilding Social Lives is the Main Goal
The program aims to achieve this goal by providing a warm and supportive environment where children can form strong bonds with one another. The support for this camp is entirely provided by volunteer donors partnering with Binance Charity.
