One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, Binance, is preparing to allow users to transfer certain coins from their Alpha accounts to their spot accounts. According to the announcement made by Binance, this transfer operation will take place on April 22, 2025, between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM (UTC). After this date, users will not have the option to transfer the related coins back to their Alpha accounts, as the transactions will occur in a one-way manner. The coins subject to transfer include popular names like BIGTIME, VIRTUAL, ONDO, TUT, and MUBARAK. Additionally, it was noted that the BROCCOLI and CHEEMS coins will undergo name and unit changes after being transferred to the spot accounts. BROCCOLI will be listed as BROCCOLI714 on Binance Spot, while CHEEMS will be renamed to 1000CHEEMS.
New Rules Regarding Transferred Coins
Binance has set new rules concerning the future utilization of the transferred coins. After the transfer, users can buy and sell the coins BIGTIME, VIRTUAL, ONDO, TUT, MUBARAK, BROCCOLI, BANANAS31, PARTI, BMT, GPS, SHELL, TST, CHEEMS, COOKIE, CGPT, AIXBT, and MONKY on their spot accounts through supported networks. However, for the MONKY coin, only withdrawal transactions will be allowed, and no other transactions can be conducted with this coin.

With this transfer, Binance aims to encourage users to be more active in their spot accounts. Users must complete their transactions within the specified date and time frame; otherwise, Binance will not be responsible for any potential issues that may arise. It is crucial for users to act quickly and carefully when dealing with these altcoins.
What Should Users Pay Attention To?
Users need to be well-prepared before the transfer of coins. Binance emphasized that once the transfer begins, users will not be able to revert to their Alpha accounts. Therefore, it is recommended for users to carefully plan and manage their assets before the transfer.
Moreover, the transition to spot accounts is expected to increase trading volumes for some coins. This situation requires users to closely monitor price movements and trading volumes in the spot accounts to potentially take advantage of emerging opportunities.
