Binance regularly evaluates all spot trading pairs listed on its platform with a commitment to user protection and maintaining a secure trading environment. Periodic reviews are conducted to ensure high liquidity and trading volume standards. Following the latest evaluations, Binance has decided to delist certain spot trading pairs from its list, effective from 06:00 on November 24, 2023 (Turkey time).
Delisted Major Altcoin Trading Pairs
In the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies, both Binance’s listings and delisting announcements draw attention. Recently, Binance has been delisting BUSD-based trading pairs, as it plans to completely end the use of BUSD by February 2024. In this context, the exchange is gradually preparing its customers for this transition. In the announcement made by Binance, it was stated that the following spot trading pairs will be removed and trading will be halted. The affected trading pairs are as follows:
- APT/BUSD
- AXS/BUSD
- BAKE/BUSD
- CFX/BUSD
- CHZ/BUSD
- ETC/BUSD
- FIL/BUSD
- GAS/BUSD
- TRB/BUSD
- USTC/BUSD
It should be noted that delisting the spot trading pairs does not affect the presence of tokens on Binance Spot. Users can continue to buy and sell the affected altcoin trading pairs in alternative trading pairs available on the Binance platform.
Termination of Spot Trading Bots Service
Binance also announced that the Spot Trading Bots service for the aforementioned spot trading pairs will be terminated at 06:00 on November 24, 2023 (Turkey time). To avoid potential losses, the exchange requested users to update or cancel their Spot Trading Bots before the service is discontinued. Users holding BUSD assets related to delisted altcoin trading pairs are encouraged to convert them to alternative assets available on Binance before February 2024.
As part of this transition, the conversion of BUSD balances to the stablecoin FDUSD is offered with zero transaction fees. Alternatively, users can use the conversion portal to convert their BUSD balances to FDUSD. In conclusion, these strategic measures taken by Binance aim to optimize the trading quality and overall user experience on the platform. Users are advised to be informed and take the necessary steps as specified to ensure a smooth transition in light of these changes.
