Crypto asset investment manager Bitwise has shared its forecasts for the cryptocurrency market and the overall industry for 2025. Ryan Rasmussen, the head of research at Bitwise, highlighted that prominent altcoins hold significant growth potential.
Solana and Ethereum 2025 Predictions
Bitwise anticipates that the price of Solana 
$168 (SOL) will soar to $750 this year, representing a 250% increase. Currently, SOL is trading at $214, approximately 18% below its peak of $263 reached in November 2024. For Ethereum (ETH) 
$2,652, a price of $7,000 is expected, signifying a 99% rise from its current level of $3,601.
Bitcoin (BTC) 
$106,342 is projected to reach $200,000 by 2025, reflecting a 106% increase. The current value of Bitcoin is around $97,640. Bitwise forecasts that net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) will surpass last year’s figures in 2025, with total net inflows as of January 5 amounting to approximately $35.66 billion.
Bitcoin Reserves and Global Investments
Ryan Rasmussen indicated that the number of countries holding Bitcoin reserves is expected to double by 2025. Countries like El Salvador currently have Bitcoin reserves, with El Salvador holding Bitcoin valued at $588.95 million as of January 3.
