Innovations in the blockchain gaming industry continue every day. Accordingly, the Web3 gaming company Immutable is preparing to incorporate Transak as the single payment service provider for Immutable zero-knowledge Ethereum Virtual Machine (zkEVM). With this service, users will be able to make direct payments in gaming environments with fiat currencies and Web3-based crypto assets.
Noteworthy Step from Immutable
The service to be provided by Transak will be integrated into the Immutable Checkout and Immutable Passport. The former serves as an all-in-one transaction infrastructure for Immutable’s games and provides a configurable interface for game developers to integrate various payment options.
Transak’s on-ramp, off-ramp, and NFT payment service also allows for fiat currency payment methods via credit and debit cards as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transak’s Marketing President Harshit Gangwar stated in his announcement that the payment platform will strengthen in-game transactions for crypto assets, and gave the following statements:
“These products will be used by hundreds of high-quality games over the next few years. Most of these games are planned to be launched in 2024.”
Immutable’s Product Marketing Director Michael Powell also announced that Transak’s first integration will be featured in the flagship Web3 games Guild of Guardians, Gods Unchained, and Cross The Ages.
Significant Details about Transak
Transak has a proven track record as a payment infrastructure provider and is preferred by more than 350 applications. These applications include major Web3 wallet platforms such as MetaMask, Ledger, Trust Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, LBank, Bitcoin.com, Bake, and PancakeSwap.
The payment service has also been tried and tested in the Web3 gaming field. In many areas supported by the Web3 gaming venture capital company Animoca Brands, it has actively started to be used. Users of Decentraland, Splinterlands, Revv Racing, FormulaE High Voltage, MotoGP Ignite, and other major Animoca games are using Transak’s payment solutions.
Gangwar announced that Transak users will be able to make payments for crypto assets and NFTs in 160 countries with more than 20 payment methods. Commission fees depend on payment methods and inter-country combinations.
