Cardano (ADA), a free-to-play sci-fi shooter game, Chronoshot, has reached a significant milestone in the gaming industry by being added to the wishlist on the Epic Games Store. This platform, one of the leading video game distribution services, marks a notable achievement for Cardano.
Cardano’s Founder Announces
Cardano’s founder Charles Hoskinson emphasized the importance of this achievement by stating on his social media account, “I am happy to see Cardano on Epic Games.”
Chronoshot is currently in early access, meaning the game is still in development but ready for players to experience and provide feedback. Epic Games decided to release the game at this stage to attract player interest and gather their opinions before the full launch. This early access version includes two single-player modes with leaderboards, allowing players to test a limited number of characters.
Multiplayer Feature to Be Introduced with Full Launch This Year
The game’s multiplayer feature will be introduced with the full launch later this year. To join Chronoshot, players will need to create a free RFLXT account. The account allows users to level up characters using Cardano-based NFTs, giving them a competitive advantage in the game. The integration of NFTs is a significant feature as it leverages the Blockchain technology for which Cardano is known.
The studio behind Chronoshot, RFLXT, highlighted the platform’s interoperability. Players on Epic will create RFLXT accounts and use RFLXT features within the game as they are released. This integration aims to enhance the gaming experience by combining Blockchain and AI, enabling interactions with communities through digital twins and games.
The early access phase is designed to allow users to familiarize themselves with the platform over the next few months. RFLXT believes in the importance of transparency and public participation in the development process, which is why they opted for an “open beta” option. This approach allows players to interact with the game and provide feedback, helping to refine and improve the final product.
