Oracle service provider, Chainlink (LINK), has been in the spotlight with its strong price increase in recent months. After reaching $8.13 on October 1st, the price of LINK saw a slight downward movement, but despite this recent price drop, LINK is still trading above the macro trend line. There is a possibility of LINK retesting the macro trend line and then rising.
Chainlink Whales and Institutional Transactions
According to the latest on-chain data, Chainlink drew the attention of institutional investors on October 13th. Experienced on-chain analyst and trader, Ali Martinez, noted that more than 20 million LINK transactions worth over 50 million dollars took place on that date.
Such large transactions often indicate an increase in speculation surrounding a cryptocurrency. However, it is important to emphasize that the presence of such increases in on-chain activity does not guarantee a sudden rise in the value of the asset.
Anonymous cryptocurrency analyst, Rekt Capital, highlighted that investors should not be scared by the macro downturns for LINK, as the altcoin continues to move within its upward trend. The analyst expects LINK to rise strongly after a slight pullback (around $6-6.5) and a decisive break of the resistance range around $8.
The RWA Trend Makes Chainlink a Secure Investment
There is currently significant momentum in real-world asset (RWA) tokenization in the crypto world, and according to a report by research firm K33 Research, Chainlink’s native asset, LINK, could be the safest choice for investors looking to capitalize on this trend.
K33 analyst, David Zimmerman, said, “If you don’t want to miss out on the RWA narrative and be left on the sidelines when it takes off, LINK is the safest investment.” Zimmerman emphasized that global banks and cryptocurrency platforms are already taking steps to leverage tokenization, and Chainlink has proven itself as a crucial infrastructure component in connecting blockchain to the real world through its oracle network and extensive collaborations. He added, “It may not be the biggest winner, but there are very few projects better positioned to benefit from this narrative.”
