The weakness in Bitcoin $84,127‘s price continues, with bulls unable to sustain levels above $86,000. This trend is certainly not favorable for altcoins. Nevertheless, Coinbase remains active, continuing to announce new listings despite ongoing market negativity. Recently, the exchange announced listings for three altcoins and a roadmap for another.
Latest on Altcoin Listings
Currently, Coinbase’s roadmap includes QCAD (QCAD), tokenbot (CLANKER), and doginme (DOGINME). With the latest announcement, Freysa (FAI) Token has also been added to this list. The contract address for this token on the Base network is 0xb33Ff54b9F7242EF1593d2C9Bcd8f9df46c77935, but its addition to the roadmap does not guarantee a definitive listing, as is often the case.
FAI has seen gains exceeding 100% on some low liquidity exchanges, yet it has not yet approached its previous peaks. Investors are advised to remain cautious due to the potential for increased volatility risk.
New Futures Announcements
The announcements also included new futures contracts. Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced will support perpetual futures for Akash Network, Zcash, and Moonwell. The launch of AKT-PERP, ZEC-PERP, and WELL-PERP markets will begin on March 27, 2025, at 9:30 UTC or later.
