Accordingly, a crypto whale wallet identified as 0x4a9, gained a fortune of $2.15 million from Worldcoin (WLD) in just two days, as the token price surged by about 25% on February 16. This rapid gain once again underlined the crypto market’s potential for quick wealth accumulation.
Whale Adds to Its Fortune
This success was closely monitored by the blockchain data analysis platform Spot On Chain. The firm first detected the withdrawal of 2.09 million WLD from Binance, valued at $5.82 million. At that time, each token was priced at $2.78. Following this move, these assets were transferred to the 0x4a9 wallet. As Worldcoin’s price increased by 25% today, the value of the assets in this wallet rose to an impressive $8.03 million. The Spot On Chain team commented on the matter:
“This is particularly the whale’s first major WLD accumulation. Currently, the whale holds a total of 2.091 million WLD, valued at $6.01 million. WLD’s price began to rise again after a 1.5-month decline.”
The investor also revealed that on October 7, 2023, 468,279 WLD were withdrawn from Binance at $1.66 each, totaling about $779,000. With all assets reinvested in the exchange at an average of $3 or $1.41 million, a profit of $626,000 was made, corresponding to an 80.3% increase. However, this strategy may have led to missing out on an additional 25% gain.
Noteworthy Details
Additionally, another skilled investor, the owner of the 0x8d7 wallet, showcased their investment prowess. They reinvested 318,279 WLD back into Binance at $3.4 each, valuing them at approximately $1.08 million. Not settling for WLD alone, they also made profits from Big Time (BIGTIME) and Uniswap (UNI), totaling $542,000. This represents a 105% gain from BIGTIME and a 6.13% increase from UNI, indicating a diversified investment strategy.
Currently, Worldcoin is on the verge of a significant breakthrough. After a 77% increase over the past five days, it is testing the weekly resistance at $4.35. If WLD can close above this level, it may target its all-time high of $5.29.
