According to Axios, Trump will meet tonight with supporters who have purchased a high amount of Mugshot Edition NFTs at dinner.
Supporters Who Purchased NFTs Sold for $99 Will Meet
Trump is currently being tried in New York in his first criminal case related to allegations of paying former porn star Stormy Daniels not to speak during the 2016 election campaign. It is reported that Trump, who is running for president again, prefers to continue his campaign efforts.
According to US news source Axios, former US President Donald Trump plans to spend today, his day off before the criminal trial, having dinner with supporters who purchased his Mugshot Edition NFTs.
According to Axios, Trump flew to his home in Palm Beach, Florida, on May 7th and will meet supporters for dinner today at Mar-a-Lago. According to a copy of the dinner invitation, each of the invited supporters purchased more than 47 NFTs, each priced at $99.
For those unaware, Trump’s Mugshot Edition NFT collection uses a photo from the case where he was accused of manipulating the 2020 election results.
Supporters to Receive Pieces of Trump’s Suit
Supporters who purchased enough NFTs to be invited to dine with Trump will receive a physical card containing a piece of the suit worn by the former US President on the day he was arrested in Atlanta in August last year. The suit is described on the NFTs’ website as “historically the most important artifact in US history.”
