$2,570 ecosystem for many years, has announced his departure from the community after an 11-year relationship. He cited the rejection of a proposed governance change as the reason for his resignation.
Conner’s Contributions
Conner is a co-author of EIP-1559, one of the critical changes to Ethereum, which altered how transaction fees are determined. Although not officially employed by Ethereum, Conner has played a vital role in the ecosystem’s growth through investment and consultancy, contributing since the project’s early days.

Buterin Addresses Leadership Structure
