Recent data shows that on January 17, 600 million tokens were transferred between two Dogecoin whales. Notably, transactions involving the addresses D78RZmm and DQhgaR resulted in the transfer of 231.5 million dollars worth of tokens, fueling discussions within the market.
Prominent crypto analyst Ali Martinez noted that in the past 24 hours, whales acquired over 200 million tokens. Martinez stated, “The increase in DOGE whale activity and buying shows an optimistic roadmap for the meme cryptocurrency’s future price movements.”

Currently, DOGE is trading at approximately $0.4103, reflecting a 6% increase. “Historical trends suggest that the next price surge might start next week,” Martinez added.
If DOGE maintains the $0.40 level, it could reach its peak of $0.4837 in 2024. While it’s uncertain whether Elon Musk’s D.O.G.E. initiative will provide significant support to the meme coin market, price movements during bullish phases often seek reasons to rally.
