Tribe Coin (TRIBE) is the native cryptocurrency that provides governance functions for the FEI protocol.
What is Tribe (TRIBE)?
Tribe (TRIBE) is the native cryptocurrency of the Fei protocol. The Fei protocol is a DeFi project that supports an ETH-backed stablecoin and utilizes a dual-token model. FEI is a stable cryptocurrency that uses Uniswap LP as its official market and employs a stability mechanism called PCV to keep FEI pegged to the US dollar. TRIBE is the governance token of the platform and serves the following use cases:
Liquidity Mining: Users can contribute to Uniswap’s FEI-TRIBE liquidity pool to earn a share of DEX transaction fees. However, this is only applicable for UniswapV2 liquidity providers.
Staking: Users can stake more FEI-TRIBE LP tokens in the Fei protocol staking pool to earn TRIBE. There is no lock-up period for staked tokens.
Governance: Users can create governance proposals and vote on them. Additionally, voting rights can be delegated to other addresses.
The total supply of Tribe Coin is 1,000,000,000 and its circulating supply is 453,448,622. TRIBE is currently being traded on the major cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
