Immutable, one of the leading game companies in the blockchain world, has announced a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The company shared the details of the agreement, stating that its goal is to facilitate developers in launching and scaling blockchain games.
Immutable X and Amazon Partnership
Immutable has announced its participation in AWS’s Accelerate program, designed for companies using AWS services. More importantly, game developers interested in and using the Ethereum-compatible Immutable X blockchain will be able to receive technical support. They will also have access to up to $100,000 in AWS credits and can join the AWS Activate program.
Jason Suen, Chief Commercial Officer at Immutable, stated:
By participating in AWS ISV Accelerate and AWS Activate programs, we can provide a turnkey solution for game developers to quickly create and scale web3 games in our extensive network.
John Kearney, President of AWS Startups, also stated:
Gaming is one of the fastest-growing subsectors in the blockchain industry.
Amazon and Other Cryptocurrencies
Kearney did not specify how many crypto companies are included in the AWS ISV Accelerate Program. He also refrained from providing detailed insights into AWS’s ideas about blockchain games. However, he mentioned that an increasing number of studios are exploring the use of crypto technology.
When examining AWS’s system, it is known for providing cloud computing platforms and data storage services. In terms of games, AWS offers various supports such as game services, game servers, game security services, game analytics, video game artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
However, Immutable is not the only blockchain company that has partnered with AWS. In January, it was announced that Immutable had joined the AWS Partner Network and AWS Activate with Avalanche (AVAX).
