Latest Development in the Ripple Case
According to a document shared a few minutes ago by Eleanor Terrett from Fox Business, the jury trial will be scheduled for the second quarter of next year. This indicates that the case will definitively conclude by the end of the second quarter of next year. Moreover, it seems to be evidence that there will be no settlement between the parties. The judge had previously instructed the parties to set a date for settlement discussions last month, but based on the latest decision, it seems that this will not happen.
Judge Torres stated that the court will attempt to schedule a jury trial in the second quarter of 2024. Torres ordered both parties to submit blackout dates for the trial by Wednesday, August 23.
