On July 21st, the US-based artificial intelligence company OpenAI made a new announcement. OpenAI revealed on their Twitter account that the Android version of their AI chatbot, ChatGPT, will be released next week. The iOS version of ChatGPT was made available in May.
OpenAI’s ChatGPT Announcement
ChatGPT, which was launched by the artificial intelligence company OpenAI, gained significant popularity worldwide shortly after its release. The rapid rise in popularity of ChatGPT, in such a short period of time, has brought artificial intelligence, a concept dating back to the early 2000s, back into the spotlight.
Large technology companies like Google and Microsoft have also been focusing on artificial intelligence projects in recent years, and numerous AI chatbots similar to ChatGPT have been released. Meanwhile, as several artificial intelligence projects have been implemented in recent times, OpenAI has also taken action to reach a wider user base with ChatGPT.
Following the iOS version of ChatGPT, the process for the Android version has also begun. OpenAI announced the date for the Android version through an official announcement on Twitter.
Android Version on its Way After the iOS Version
The US-based artificial intelligence company, OpenAI, has taken action to reach a wider user base with the AI chatbot ChatGPT. They released the iOS version of ChatGPT in May, making the popular AI chatbot available to iOS users. After the iOS version, OpenAI has also started working on the Android version of ChatGPT.
In a tweet on July 21st, OpenAI announced that the Android version of the AI chatbot ChatGPT will be released next week. They stated that the application will be available to Android users next week.
