Pi Network investors closely monitor developments regarding the potential listing on Binance. During a community vote held from February 17 to 27, 86% of participating investors supported the listing. However, Binance has yet to announce an official decision. The decline in Pi Coin’s value has increased market uncertainties, leading investors to wait for the exchange’s listing verdict.
Binance Voting and Strong Community Support
For those unfamiliar, Binance conducted a poll to gather investor opinions on whether to list Pi Network. A total of 294,958 individuals participated, with a significant majority supporting the trading of Pi Coin on the exchange. Binance officials have emphasized the importance of community feedback in their decision-making process.
However, the listing decision is not solely based on the poll results. Binance is thoroughly assessing the project’s technical infrastructure, security, and market compliance. The Pi Network team continues its efforts to meet the standards set by Binance.
Changes in Pi Coin’s Value
On the day of voting, Pi Coin experienced a nearly 20% drop in value. This decrease is perceived to be linked with general market fluctuations. Notably, there has been a 230% increase in Pi Coin’s trading volume recently, indicating continued investor interest in the altcoin.
Market experts believe that if Pi Network is listed on Binance, the altcoin could reach a wider audience and its value may rise. Analyst Max Pavlov highlighted the possibility of Pi Coin reaching higher resistance levels while cautioning that market uncertainties pose a risk of further value loss.
Currently, Pi Coin investors are carefully tracking Binance’s review process. The listing is expected to provide the altcoin with more liquidity and strengthen its market position.
