The fluctuation in Bitcoin’s price continues to be discouraging, with a drop to $60,630 today. Despite these significant fluctuations, it is possible to see impressive gains in some altcoins, one of which could be Litecoin (LTC). So, what triggers the expectations of a rise?
Litecoin (LTC)
Investor activity on the network also affects altcoin prices. Therefore, initially, it might be useful to check whether there is an increase in LTC investors joining the network. In the last three weeks, we have seen a 22.66% increase in the number of addresses transacting on the Litecoin network.
The number of active addresses has risen from 353,000 to 433,000, a 22.66% increase. This notable rise in active addresses represents the first significant recovery in the last six months. The last time we saw such a recovery was in November 2023.
The second key indicator reflects investors’ appetite for risk. The reserve risk indicator tells whether the current price is attractive for accumulation. Generally, an indicator in the green area indicates high confidence and that investors are facing a price level attractive for purchases. The risk-reward ratio is satisfactorily strong.
LTC Price Prediction
Even though Bitcoin has gained nearly $1400 today, most altcoins are painted red. While many altcoins experience about a 3% loss, what’s the current situation on the LTC front? Litecoin’s price could break out from a descending triangle reversal formation. The descending triangle reversal formation is formed with a horizontal support and a descending trend line, giving a bullish signal.
When the price crosses above the trend line, it makes sense for bulls to get excited about a potential reversal of the downtrend. If the LTC price continues to close above $81, it could soon climb by approximately 27% to roughly $102. However, for this scenario to materialize, $86 needs to be converted to support. Certainly, if BTC moves sideways, it would also facilitate the bulls’ job.
If the attempt fails, then LTC’s price might seek lower lows after $79 and $76.
