Scandalous Announcement from the Fraud Tool

Web3 security company Scam Sniffer shared screenshots revealing that the fraud tool has terminated its services aimed at the TON network. The announcement highlighted that the lack of large investors, referred to as “whales,” within the TON community made fraudulent activities more challenging.

The hackers expressed their unmet expectations due to the TON network’s small community size, stating, “There are no large whales in TON, making it hard for us to operate. Therefore, we are shutting down our service.”

Directing Users to Other Cryptocurrencies

The fraud tool that ceased its operations encouraged users to engage in scams within the Bitcoin $104,557 network. Claiming that greater profits could be achieved on Bitcoin, the hackers provocatively stated, “If you enjoyed scamming in TON, you’ll succeed similarly on the Bitcoin network.”

Additionally, Raz Niv, co-founder of Blockaid, noted the growing interest in the TON network, highlighting that asset transfers conducted on this network are of substantial value. He also indicated that some scammers used the transfer comment feature in TON to disguise the true intent of signatures, convincing users to authorize fraudulent transactions. Many users have lost their assets through this method.

The recent developments in various sectors of the cryptocurrency market on the TON network illustrate the need for heightened vigilance among users. Scammers continue to devise new methods for attacks, emphasizing the necessity for increased caution, especially on the increasingly popular TON network.
