Prominent mainstream brands and companies participating in Solana Breakpoint have made noteworthy statements. According to these statements, Web3 platforms supported by the Layer-1 blockchain network Solana provide tangible returns and offer customer data insights to investors through conducted analyses. Various businesses and projects from Web2, Web3, and traditional plans participated in the four-day conference held in Amsterdam.
Highlights from the Conference
The main topics of the conference revolved around the adoption of Solana-based platforms and services, as well as innovations in payments and loyalty programs. Boba Guys, a growing brand similar to Starbucks and globally renowned coffee shop chain based in the United States, decided to take steps towards a new customer loyalty application. In the conducted pilot tests, store customers in San Francisco were incentivized, and notable insights regarding this program were shared.
The five-week program relied solely on in-store promotion for local customers. Six hundred users were included in this program, and 31% of the orders earned loyalty points thanks to the loyalty program. Co-founders Bin Chen and Andrew Chau also revealed that the loyalty program resulted in a 67% increase in monthly store visits and a 65% increase in spending by users.
Web3 Detail in Loyalty Programs
Josh Fried, the Chief Business Officer of Solana Foundation, stated that these solutions provided a concrete use case for commercial customers seeking blockchain-based solutions through Web3 in order to develop loyalty programs and build customer bases:
“The initial data from the Boba Guys pilot program demonstrates that we have truly improved business outcomes. Fried explained that a real retailer with 25 locations entered the scene and this Solana-based program provided an 800% return on investment.”
After the integration of Solana Pay, a Web3-based payment solution, with the e-commerce platform Shopify, attention has been drawn to Web3-based payment tools. Fried announced that company officials have started receiving feedback on adopting the payment solution.
Another statement came from a company based in Colorado that uses Shopify’s Solana Pay integration to boost custom perfume sales. Officials who spoke about the benefits of the payment solution believe that the Web3 sector will help increase e-commerce sales.
