Whales, who have attracted the attention of the cryptocurrency markets with their massive purchases, have moved billions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies, including the leading cryptocurrency and the second largest altcoin.
BTC Whale Wakes Up!
New data from the whale research platform Whale Alert reveals that an investor with a high net worth has transferred 14,159 Bitcoins (BTC) worth $421.7 million from one unknown wallet to another in a remarkable manner.
Other activities focusing on the best cryptocurrency by market value announced another whale transfer of 1,881 BTC worth $55.9 million from an unknown wallet to the US-based leading cryptocurrency platform Coinbase. The next largest transactions include Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) smart contract platforms, which saw $51.6 million and $53.9 million respectively.
Massive SOL Transfer!
According to Whale Alert, a whale relocated 27,366 ETH from Binance.US, the US branch of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange platform by trading volume, to an unknown wallet, while another whale transferred 2,000,000 SOL from Binance to an unknown wallet. Another cryptocurrency whale carried 409,823 SOL worth $10.3 million from an unknown wallet to Binance.
Other significant transfers on the whale tracking platform include transactions involving the popular dog-themed meme token Shiba Inu (SHIB) and the decentralized cryptocurrency network Chainlink (LINK). In one notable transaction, 2,416,836,656,676 SHIB worth $18.7 million was transferred from Binance.US to an unknown wallet, while in another transaction, 3,743,238 LINK worth $29.9 million was transferred from one unknown wallet to another. Meanwhile, the latest development in the Ripple (XRP) case had a significant impact on the cryptocurrency markets, leading to substantial gains in XRP and some altcoins. However, following speculation about the case, the market sentiment has slightly declined.
