The 7th largest altcoin, Cardano (ADA), continued its momentum in September and stood out as the project with the highest developer activity in October, once again taking the leadership position. Here are the top 10 altcoin projects with high developer activity.

CryptoDep, a popular crypto analysis account on X (formerly known as Twitter), reported that Cardano took the first place in the list of altcoin projects with high developer activity, surpassing its competitors with an impressive 505 entries recorded on GitHub this month.
Following Cardano’s impressive leadership in developer activity, Polkadot (DOT) became the second project on the list with 427 GitHub entries in October, right behind Cardano. Hedera (HBAR) ranked third with 380 entries, followed by Aptos (APT) with 340 entries. Chainlink (LINK) ranked fifth with 300 entries.
The rest of the list includes Cosmos (ATOM) with 287 entries, IOTA (MIOTA) with 272 entries, Avalanche (AVAX) with 250 entries, MultiversX (EGLD) with 138 entries, and Radix (XRD) with 127 entries.
Decentralized Social Network Launched on Cardano
One of the important projects developed and launched by Cardano’s developer team in October was Cardano Spot. The blockchain company introduced Cardano Spot, the first decentralized social network application built to connect and empower all Cardano enthusiasts and assist in the development of projects on the network.
Cardano Spot has a sophisticated platform to bring together projects and communities built on the Cardano Blockchain. The decentralized social network application allows Web3 users to connect with the Cardano ecosystem, covering a range of topics such as decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, NFT projects, and more, and acquire information about these projects.
