Binance exchange’s top gaining altcoins for the day were API3, ALT, and DCR Coin. Double-digit surges in altcoins are allowing investors to start the new day happily as Bitcoin targets $43,000 again. So, what are the current price predictions for these three altcoins?
API3 Price Prediction
As this article is being prepared, API3 is near a 44% gain, hovering around the $3 mark. On January 20th, it had surpassed $3.3 but then retreated to as low as $1.95 due to rapid profit-taking. Now, as the BTC price continues to rise, it has become the altcoin with the most significant increase on the exchange. Yesterday, the price jumped from the $2 support to $3.13, showing strong demand from the support level.
Although it dropped to $2.8, if it can close above $3.04 in the coming hours, it could climb to $3.35 and $3.68. Since the price has risen to May 2022 levels and saw significant profit-taking days ago, it is likely to attract more interest. However, closing below $2.8 could lead to a decline back to $2 and $1.77.
ALT Coin Price Prediction
It hasn’t been long since its launch, but today it became the third-highest gaining cryptocurrency on Binance with a 20% increase. It has continuously reached new and higher peaks over the past three days. This indicates that with the rise of BTC, if the appetite for risk remains strong, the climb could continue beyond $0.5.
For now, the main barrier is the $0.45 ATH region, and if the $0.4 support can be maintained, the direction is upwards.
Decred (DCR) Price Prediction
The impressive rise on December 27th brought over 50% gains in just one day. It has experienced similar surges several times in the past. However, investors should be cautious as these upward movements have been followed by consistent profit-taking. Currently, the $18.96 region is a significant resistance and has not yet been permanently breached.
If DCR Coin can close above this region, it may retest the $23 and $26.46 levels. In the opposite scenario, we could see a drop to $17.2 and $15.6.
