The UK Court of Appeal decisively rejected Dr. Craig Wright’s claims of being Bitcoin 
$106,698 creator Satoshi Nakamoto. The court stated that Wright provided false testimony and presented counterfeit documents to support his assertions. The judge emphasized that evidence clearly demonstrated Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto.
Judge: “Wright Is Not Satoshi Nakamoto”
The court examined Dr. Wright’s claims of being the author of the Bitcoin White Paper and the creator of the BTC system repeatedly. In a ruling made in March, Wright’s claims were also found to be invalid. The court determined that Wright did not operate under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto between 2008 and 2011, and this finding was further clarified in the latest appeal decision.
The judge stated, “Dr. Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin White Paper. Additionally, he is not the individual who operated under the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto during the 2008-2011 period.” The court also revealed that Wright organized false documents to support his claims. Therefore, the court ruled that there was no need to continue the case.
Uncertainty Persists in the Bitcoin Community
The BitMEX Research team evaluated the court’s decision and announced that the ruling arrived at a definitive conclusion that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto. BitMEX stated that the verdict marks the end of Wright’s claims, which have not been recognized internationally.
This development further increased uncertainty in the Bitcoin community regarding the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. The anonymous creator’s identity continues to spark speculation in the cryptocurrency world. The court ruling highlighted that Wright’s claims lack serious foundations.
