- Public: Users don’t need the approval of a trusted authority to use the Dusk Network blockchain. Additionally, only minimal computational power and reasonable IT resources are required to participate. All DUSK token holders can participate in consensus.
Utilizing an operational model called Phoenix, Dusk Network focuses on bringing privacy and anonymity to both transactions and smart contracts. Furthermore, Dusk Network’s distributed tokens can be built on top of Zedger, a hybrid privacy protection model based on Phoenix, especially designed for security tokens.
Moreover, DUSK tokens can serve as a utility token for initiating transactions, atomic swaps, or deploying smart contracts. DUSK can also be staked for consensus participation and serves as a means of exchanging value in DUSK. The team plans to expand DUSK’s use cases by adding them to an on-chain governance system in the future.
