MovieBloc (MBL) is an initiative aimed at solving problems in the theater and entertainment industry using blockchain technology. Created by Chris Kang, Jeffrey Jin, and Peter Kim, this venture is seen as a reverse ICO project. MovieBloc, similar to the model of the Korea-based video platform Pandora.tv, stands out with its blockchain-based approach.

In this system, content creators will be able to generate revenue transparently. Additionally, they will be able to access critical data such as viewer demographics, viewing duration, and more. Viewers, on the other hand, will have the chance to access and watch content more affordably through the transfer of these data. Currently, there are over 100 films and dramas available on the platform. In the long term, MovieBloc aims to create the largest film ecosystem.
