Coin98 is a decentralized finance (DeFi) solution that enables users to access cross-chain exchanges, staking, and yield farming.
What is Coin98 (C98)?
The Coin98 exchange defines itself as a multi-chain liquidity aggregator that supports assets across various blockchains including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Avalanche, and Tron, but not limited to these. Coin98 also has a wallet that supports over 25 networks on both mobile and desktop platforms in its offerings.
In its roadmap, Coin98 has plans for a launchpad, a lending and borrowing platform, a megafarm, a derivatives market, and an NFT marketplace. As of July 2021, Coin98 was a Binance Launchpad project.
On the other hand, Coin98 is an inter-chain liquidity protocol that aims to be a gateway from Traditional Finance (TradFi) to Decentralized Finance (DeFi). The protocol achieves this by creating a complete package of products including the Coin98 Wallet, Coin98 Exchange, and an inter-chain bridge (Space Gate) to move tokens across networks.
- Coin98 Wallet: A multi-chain wallet that allows users to store, transfer, and manage their crypto assets and connect to numerous dApps across multiple blockchains. It supports over 20 networks including Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, and Terra, etc., in both Mobile (iOS and Android) and Chrome Extension versions.
- Coin98 Exchange: A multi-chain liquidity aggregator that helps users swap cryptocurrencies, stake, lend, borrow, and earn.
- Space Gate: An inter-chain bridge that facilitates swaps and transfers across multiple networks.
The mission of Coin98 is to meet the untapped demand in the DeFi space and to be a Gateway for TradFi users to easily access any DeFi service across multiple blockchains.
The C98 token is the native utility token of the platform. Current and planned use cases for the C98 token include:
- Ecosystem development: C98 revenue from transaction fees will be sent to a treasury fund and partly allocated for future product development and ecosystem growth.
- Staking: Another part of the treasury fund will be allocated to C98 holders who stake their tokens. The exact distribution is subject to protocol governance and can be changed.
- Governance: Users can stake C98 to gain voting power and participate in the governance process to change product parameters.
- Unique membership rights: Users will receive tiered benefits on the platform depending on their X98 assets. Some benefits include access to Coin98 launchpads and retroactive incentives from strategic partners.
How to Buy Coin98 Coin?
Coin98 Coin can be quickly and securely purchased through Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency trading platform by trading volume.
