Bitcoin Analyst Peter Brandt’s Old BTC Prediction Resurfaces
Looking at the notable comments by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency analyst Brandt, the resurgence of a tweet he shared in the past stands out. Two years ago, in his tweet, Brandt predicted that Bitcoin would not reach its all-time high but expected a continuing upward trend. Recent developments have once again demonstrated the accuracy of Brandt’s predictions.
Referring to a tweet he posted in the middle of June two years ago, Brandt states that he had completely forgotten about it. In the mentioned tweet, the famous analyst shared his expectations that BTC would not reach its all-time high until the beginning of 2024. However, he highlighted that “we would be in a giant upward trend by then.”
The price of the cryptocurrency Bitcoin has entered an upward trend that confirms Brandt’s predictions. Surpassing the $66,000 level and approaching its historical peak, Bitcoin has shown an increase of more than 50% since the beginning of the year. Particularly, the mid-January approval of spot Bitcoin ETFs by the Securities and Exchange Commission has accelerated this upward trend.
Expectations for Bitcoin’s Rise Continue
Brandt’s latest published Bitcoin chart has strengthened the expectation of a new upward wave in the market. His analyses based on monthly candles indicate that the Bitcoin rally will continue. The flagship of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, has drawn all attention by rising more than 8% in the last 24 hours, surpassing $66,000. The rise appears to have started especially from the $61,350 region.
