ONDO Hits Its All-Time High
ONDO is the native token of Ondo Finance, a tokenized real-world asset (RWA) platform aimed at making financial products and services accessible to everyone. The token was launched on January 18th with a market capitalization of $150 million and a fully diluted valuation of $870 million.
According to data, the cryptocurrency ONDO gained about 40% in value on March 21st, trading at an all-time high price of $0.778. The rapid rally moved the token into the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market value, with a market cap of $1,054,018,415. At last check, the token was trading at around $0.75, with a 60.3% increase in 24-hour trading volume.
Several Factors Contribute to ONDO Coin’s Rise
Several factors may have contributed to ONDO’s march to a new ATH, including the Fed’s decision to keep interest rates steady, ending a week of gloomy crypto market performance, and the recent expansion of Ondo Finance.
On March 20th, Ondo Finance introduced Ondo Global Markets, an initiative aimed at expanding the company’s tokenized asset offerings across multiple chains, already integrated with Sui, Solana, and Aptos Blockchains.
On the other hand, Santiment data indicates that the number of whale transactions holding at least $100,000 worth of ONDO increased from 68 to 91 in the last 24 hours, suggesting this activity could trigger high price volatility.
Rise of RWA-Focused Cryptocurrencies
Experts anticipate significant rises in RWA-focused cryptocurrency projects in the upcoming bull season. They suggest widespread adoption in construction and predict the RWA economy could reach a market size of $10 trillion by 2030.
