The altcoin’s open futures positions have been steadily declining since reaching a yearly peak of $147 million on April 25. This month alone, open positions decreased by 27% to around $38 million.

While HBAR lingers at $0.069, the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) is negative. The likely scenario is a new drop below $0.06 for HBAR Coin. CMF tracks the flow of money in and out, and if negative, it signals selling pressure due to liquidity outflow. This means more people are selling HBAR than buying.
The potential drop target under current conditions is $0.57. BTC performance will determine if this happens. Factors like the extent of MTGOX refunds and whether Germany continues its sales are crucial.
On the other hand, there is a small detail that might reassure investors in the US. The US does not sell its holdings very frequently. Sales, authorized by court orders, typically occur every 3-4 months. The Department of Justice, in agreement with Coinbase Prime, might soften the impact of sales by selling to ETF issuers OTC during market recovery. Or Trump might grab a microphone and say, “Biden is doing this to harm you.” If this happens, few people will be surprised.
