What is MAV Coin?
Maverick Protocol is a composable DeFi protocol that allows developers and liquidity providers to achieve high capital efficiency and implement their desired LP strategies. Maverick Protocol stands out with its Maverick AMM, the first Dynamic Distribution AMM that gives liquidity providers more flexibility in choosing where to place their liquidity and allows it to automatically move to follow the price.
The mission of Maverick Protocol is to eliminate inefficiencies arising from DeFi by helping users place their liquidity where it can do the most work. The Maverick AMM enables a wide range of LP strategies, including those that enhance the capital efficiency of both constant product and range AMMs. Moreover, by natively automating a set of liquidity strategies, Maverick Protocol allows all classes of users to benefit from dynamic concentrated liquidity.
Maverick Protocol has proven to be an extremely powerful AMM for liquid staking protocols in attracting TVL and volume. The Maverick AMM has managed to generate a significant amount of wstETH trading volume following its launch in March.
MAV is the native utility coin of the Maverick Protocol. MAV coin can be used for two purposes: governance and voting. MAV coin holders can stake their MAV to obtain veMAV, which can be used to vote on protocol governance decisions. veMAV also grants community voting rights, including the allocation of protocol incentives to specific pools or positions within the Maverick AMM.

Maverick Protocol stands out by allowing protocols to use precise incentives to shape their global liquidity distributions to meet their objectives while on-chain (on-chain) liquidity is needed to develop new protocols.
In existing AMMs, LPs have been limited to only a small set of LPing strategies, but Maverick Protocol changes this by adding new degrees of freedom to the LP’s toolkit, making it possible to collect incentives from protocols. The high-density structure of Maverick Protocol pools allows investors to obtain highly competitive pricing with low slippage.
Although the initial circulating supply of the ERC-20 token MAV coin was set at 250 million MAV (12.5% of the total coin supply) when listed on Binance, the total and maximum supply is 2 billion MAV. A total of 30 million MAV (1.5% of the total coin supply) has been allocated to Binance Launchpool for the Binance Launchpad project MAV coin.
How to Buy MAV Coin?
MAV coin can be bought and sold quickly and securely through Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume. To purchase MAV coin, one must first become a member of Binance (if not already) and then deposit fiat currency. Once a fiat currency such as US Dollars is deposited into the exchange, the purchase can be made through trading pairs where MAV coin is listed.
