Fractal Bitcoin 
$103,629 officially released a special version of the Ordinals protocol, marking significant progress for developers on the Fractal network. This new application, completed with source code, is designed to streamline and enhance the development process for applications utilizing Ordinals on the Fractal network. The special variant represents a tailored implementation of Ordinals within the main Bitcoin network.
Ordinals to Activate at Block Height 21,000
According to an official statement from Fractal Bitcoin, the primary changes in this version of Ordinals are crafted to align with the unique features of the Fractal network. One of the most notable adjustments is the activation of Ordinals set to occur at block height 21,000. This adjustment ensures a seamless integration of Ordinals functions into the Fractal network from an early stage of block production.
In addition to the activation of Ordinals, Fractal will also see the activation of Rune at block height 84,000. This phased approach to protocol activations allows for gradual integration, providing developers with ample time to adapt and optimize their applications accordingly.
Satoshi Index Adjustment Implemented
Another critical change includes the adjustment of the Satoshi Index (sats index). This modification aims to accurately represent the total supply differences between Fractal and Bitcoin, ensuring compatibility of the Ordinals framework with Fractal’s diverse monetary parameters. By recalibrating the sats index, Fractal Bitcoin addresses supply discrepancies while maintaining consistency and reliability in Ordinals-based transactions and applications.
All these changes are set to take effect when the network reaches block height 21,000, marking a significant moment for the Fractal Bitcoin community.
