The negativity in the cryptocurrency markets continues, accompanied by significant developments. Discussions regarding changes in the management of the Ethereum 
$2,445 Foundation have been ongoing for some time. Following criticisms, Vitalik has hinted at such a step.
Change at the Ethereum Foundation
Aya Miyaguchi recently announced a change in management. As of today, Aya declared that it is her last day as the Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation. She will now serve as the President of the Ethereum Foundation, marking the first major step in the transformation of the altcoin leader.
“I thank everyone who has been part of my journey over the past seven years and those who encouraged me to stay true to myself. Growing EF and supporting Ethereum often required unconventional approaches and decisions that challenged traditional corporate wisdom. I am deeply grateful to those who inspired me to stay bold and trust that pursuing our values will light the path forward.”
Vitalik Buterin sent a congratulatory message to Aya for her new role;
“During her seven years as Executive Director, EF accomplished a lot. I believe that the role of an ED is to create an environment where others can shine and do their best work. Therefore, every success of EF – from the stable execution of Ethereum hard forks to client interoperability workshops, Devcon, and the steadfast commitment to Ethereum’s culture, mission, and values – is partly a result of Aya’s leadership.”
Vitalik announced that a new management structure will be revealed soon.
