XRP investor Zach Humphries stated that XRP could reach fresh all time highs in the current market cycle, citing several industry developments that he believes have reinforced the asset’s outlook within the broader digital asset landscape.
Institutional access and regulatory clarity
Humphries identified the arrival of institutional XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) as a primary catalyst for potential upside. He noted that ETFs can provide traditional investors with regulated and familiar ways to gain exposure to XRP without navigating the complexities of crypto exchanges or direct custody.
He also pointed to the clearing of regulatory uncertainty around XRP as a motivating factor. With greater legal clarity now established, financial institutions may have more confidence in evaluating, holding, or integrating XRP into their offerings. According to Humphries, this presents an important shift that could support further institutional participation.
Alongside regulatory clarity, Humphries highlighted the recent expansion of Ripple’s institutional market infrastructure. Ripple, the blockchain technology company behind XRP, has developed prime brokerage services following its acquisition of Hidden Road. These services are designed to help institutions transact efficiently by providing access to trading, liquidity, and market infrastructure.
Humphries views these developments—ETFs, regulatory certainty, and advanced brokerage infrastructure—as critical elements that make institutional engagement with XRP more accessible.
The emergence of XRP ETFs, resolution of regulatory challenges, and Ripple’s prime brokerage initiatives together have created an environment where institutional investors can participate in XRP markets with greater confidence and ease.
Tokenization and stablecoin integrations
Humphries described the XRP Ledger (XRPL) as a growing tokenization network, reflecting a broader movement to bring real-world financial assets onto blockchain platforms. By enabling the tokenization of government securities, funds, and other traditional assets, XRPL expands its use cases and could elevate transaction activity across its ecosystem.
Additionally, Humphries drew attention to RLUSD, Ripple’s dollar-backed stablecoin designed to provide digital dollar liquidity on XRPL. With increased RLUSD adoption, transaction volumes and network activity within XRPL could scale higher, although this does not guarantee a direct impact on XRP’s market price.
Mini dictionary: RLUSD, a new stablecoin issued by Ripple, is designed to maintain a 1:1 peg with the US dollar and aims to provide liquidity and facilitate on-chain transactions within the XRP Ledger ecosystem.
Humphries also emphasized the continued strength of the XRP community, calling it “the strongest Altcoin community.” He stated that sustained support from XRP holders has helped the asset maintain resilience through changing market environments and complex regulatory periods.
Persistent engagement by the XRP community, coupled with new product developments like RLUSD and broader use of the XRP Ledger, may provide additional tailwinds for the asset’s growth prospects.
Outlook and price targets
Bringing together these factors, Humphries suggested that XRP’s position within the digital asset sector is evolving. He indicated that the asset is increasingly integrated with institutional finance through ETFs, brokerage services, tokenization, and stablecoin adoption.
On this basis, Humphries anticipates that XRP will surpass its previous all time high and reach price discovery levels during the current cycle.
