AIsa, an enterprise AI infrastructure provider based in San Francisco, announced the completion of its seed extension round, with new strategic investments from Tether and HIVEN. This latest funding has brought AIsa’s total financing to over $9 million, reflecting growing interest from major players in the technology and digital asset sectors.
New strategic investors expand AIsa’s backer list
Tether, the stablecoin issuer widely known for its USDT product, and HIVEN, a technology investment firm, joined the seed extension as key backers. Their investment adds to an existing list that includes Alibaba, Tribe Capital, Sumitomo Corporation, Draper Associates, Saison Capital, and several others. These companies represent significant global influence in finance, technology, and venture capital.
AIsa aims to solve enterprise-level challenges by creating infrastructure that enables AI agents to find, access, and pay for global resources efficiently and securely. The company’s approach provides enterprises with tools for managing permissions, spending, and transactions within a single platform.
Addressing enterprise AI agent needs
Jordan Liu, AIsa’s founder and CEO, commented that enterprise AI agents require reliable information, versatile tools, and governed transaction mechanisms to operate effectively. Liu highlighted the current industry challenge involving fragmented providers, integrations, and billing systems, which often complicate scaling and operational management for enterprise AI solutions.
“Enterprise AI agents need trusted information, useful tools and a governed way to transact. Our vision is to build the infrastructure that enables agents to discover, access and pay for resources globally, while giving enterprises full control over permissions, spending and transactions. We are excited to welcome Tether and HIVEN as strategic investors as we accelerate the transition from AI assistants to autonomous, production-ready agents.”
AIsa is developing the Trusted Resource and Transaction Network for Enterprise AI Agents, which centralizes resource discovery, access, and transactions on a governed, usage-based structure. This network connects enterprise agents to a wide spectrum of tools, including external data sources, AI search, different models, APIs, software utilities, and industry services. Its unified infrastructure combines controlled access with transparent usage metering, billing, and settlement.

Tether’s profitability and expanding investments
Tether has recently been in the spotlight for its strong financial performance. In the second quarter, the company reported a net operating profit of $1.5 billion, fueled mainly by interest earnings on a substantial US Treasury portfolio and repurchase agreements involving government-backed securities.
This continued profitability has enabled Tether to support strategic investments such as its backing of AIsa, signaling the company’s intent to extend its influence across the broader digital and AI innovation space.
