Weekly ETF Outflows and Market Moves

According to data from SoSoValue, Bitcoin ETFs lost $229 million over the week, while Ether ETFs saw even deeper outflows of $320 million. Both asset classes faced continued selling pressure, with the latest movements marking a second straight week of net outflows for Bitcoin funds and a third for Ether products.

Although significant, the pace of withdrawals slowed from the previous week, when the combined net outflows from US spot Bitcoin and Ether ETFs reached $1.22 billion.

Spot Ether ETFs alone have now seen roughly $955 million leave in October — surpassing outflows from any previous month in 2026.

Spot Ether ETFs have now posted $955 million in net outflows this month, more than in any other period in 2026, as investors continue to reevaluate their exposure to the asset.

Ether (ETH) dropped 5% over the past week to trade around $2,433, while Bitcoin edged 1.3% lower, reaching $82,783, based on figures from CoinGecko.

Year-to-Date Net Flows Remain Positive

Despite recent outflows, both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs remain net positive for 2026. Bitcoin funds have attracted approximately $259 million in net inflows since the start of the year, while Ether ETFs have gained about $610 million over the same period.

Exchange-traded funds (ETFs) enable investors to track the price of crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ether through regulated securities traded on traditional markets.
