US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded net inflows of $526.7 million on Monday, marking their largest single-day intake in almost a month after two consecutive weeks of net outflows.
Largest inflow since late September
Data from Farside Investors shows that Monday’s net inflow was the most significant since September 22, when Bitcoin ETFs attracted $714.7 million. The recent surge followed Friday’s net outflows of $82.4 million, signaling a turnaround in investor sentiment.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drove the trend, securing $665.2 million in net inflows, surpassing the total for all spot Bitcoin ETFs combined. This dominant performance was partially offset by $83.6 million in withdrawals from Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and $54.9 million from Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC). Other ETFs in the sector reported zero net flows on the day, based on Farside’s summary.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs had recently experienced sustained withdrawals. Last week, the category posted $229 million in net outflows, following $681 million lost the week before. October 7 saw the largest daily pullback since June, totaling $483.9 million in outflows.
| ETF Name | Net Flow (Monday) |
|---|---|
| iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) | +$665.2 million |
| Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) | −$83.6 million |
| Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) | −$54.9 million |
| Other funds | $0 |
Despite the upswing, net flows for US spot Bitcoin ETFs remain negative for October, with an $88 million shortfall according to Farside’s month-to-date data.
Ether ETFs continue to see outflows
US spot Ethereum ETFs moved in the opposite direction, with net outflows of $103.3 million on Monday. The majority of withdrawals came from BlackRock’s iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), which lost $95.4 million during the session. Last week, Ether funds recorded approximately $320 million in net losses, marking the third straight week of redemptions.

Mini dictionary: Spot ETF, an exchange-traded fund that invests directly in the underlying asset, such as Bitcoin or Ethereum, allowing investors exposure to price moves without owning the asset itself.
These redemptions have placed pressure on Ether funds, which remain in a prolonged period of net outflows as some investors rotate their focus back to Bitcoin products.
BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust captured $665.2 million in net inflows, outpacing the combined flows of all other spot Bitcoin ETFs, while Fidelity’s Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust both faced notable withdrawals.
Some analysts noted that broader macroeconomic factors, as well as market volatility, could influence flow patterns in both Bitcoin and Ether ETFs in coming weeks.
