U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw net inflows of $110.3 million on Monday, October 26, with BlackRock’s IBIT accounting for the entire amount. Research firm SoSoValue provided these figures as market participants turned their focus to the Federal Reserve’s upcoming October 28 decision on interest rates.
IBIT drives all Bitcoin ETF inflows
Farside Investors reported that BlackRock’s IBIT received $110.3 million in net inflows on Monday, while every other tracked U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF, including Fidelity’s FBTC and Grayscale’s GBTC, recorded zero net flows. This concentration underscores IBIT’s dominance as a top vehicle for institutional Bitcoin exposure.
Cumulative net inflows to IBIT have now reached $66.24 billion, strengthening its profile in the digital asset investment landscape.
According to Crypto Patel, a market analyst, purchases through IBIT on the day amounted to about 1,380 Bitcoin, a figure roughly equal to three days’ worth of newly mined BTC. The data indicates that buying activity was isolated to a single ETF, highlighting divergence in investor sentiment between IBIT and other market products.
Purchases flowing through IBIT only, totaling approximately 1,380 Bitcoin, represent about three days of new BTC supply, with no inflows reported from other major U.S. spot Bitcoin funds.
BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has played a pivotal role in shaping institutional access to Bitcoin, with IBIT emerging as a preferred channel for large-scale investors.
Mini dictionary: BlackRock, headquartered in New York, is the largest asset management firm in the world, managing more than $10 trillion in assets for institutional and retail clients globally.
BlackRock’s ETHA sees biggest Ether ETF outflow
Spot Ether ETFs took a different course, recording net outflows of $88.58 million the same day. BlackRock’s ETHA, its dedicated Ether fund, led the redemptions with $104.7 million withdrawn, corresponding to around 45,240 ETH. In contrast, Fidelity’s FETH posted inflows of $16.13 million, or about 6,970 ETH, partially offsetting the broader outflows.
All other Ether ETFs tracked by Farside recorded zero net flow, while BlackRock saw both significant inflows into IBIT and substantial redemptions from ETHA. This divergence reflects mixed investor sentiment between the two leading digital assets.
Other altcoin ETFs showed mixed results as well. Solana funds lost $8.23 million, XRP funds declined by $3.61 million, and HYPE funds recorded $4.30 million in outflows. Meanwhile, Zcash funds gained $1.96 million, and NEAR funds added $1.40 million.
| ETF/Fund | Net Flow | Asset |
|---|---|---|
| BlackRock IBIT | +$110.3 million | Bitcoin |
| BlackRock ETHA | -$104.7 million | Ether |
| Fidelity FETH | +$16.13 million | Ether |
| Solana Funds | -$8.23 million | Solana |

BlackRock’s ETF products witnessed contrasting flows on the same day: record-setting inflows into Bitcoin, and the largest outflows from its Ether ETF.
Bitcoin and Ethereum price outlook
Ethereum’s price hovered near $2,300 as outflows and weakening momentum weighed on investor sentiment. CoinMarketCap data showed ETH trading at $2,309.58, down 0.95% over 24 hours. Analysts viewed the $2,280 to $2,300 zone as a critical support range for near-term price direction.
Technical analyst Sweep noted that Ether had approached its weekly bull market support band. He outlined two potential scenarios: a potential rebound towards $3,000 if the support holds, or a sharp drop to new lows if support fails. Sweep currently anticipates a bounce, though he cautioned outcomes are not guaranteed.
On Bitcoin, analyst Ardi advised gradual accumulation on pullbacks, arguing buyers may have limited opportunities to purchase in the $70,000 range. He still acknowledged the possibility of further price consolidation and emphasized risk management through staggered entries.
Traders are now watching to see if Bitcoin ETF inflows extend beyond IBIT and whether Ether ETF redemptions persist after the Federal Reserve announces its latest rate decision on October 28. Sustained support for ETH above $2,280 could signal bullish momentum, while a break below may lead to further declines.
