Rocket Pool connects smart node operators with stakers to collectively pool ETH for staking, subsequently issuing rETH to stakers to preserve liquidity and control over their staked tokens. Introducing Rocket Pool (RPL)
Rocket Pool was conceived by David Rugendyke, a seasoned developer with a computer science background who initiated the platform’s design in late 2016. He is joined by Managing Director Darren Langley, an executive boasting over 18 years of commercial experience supervising and mentoring development teams, architecting application frameworks, and delivering innovative digital products for governmental and financial sectors. Three blockchain and Solidity engineers, possessing a combined 40 years of experience, augment the team.
Rocket Pool facilitates liquid staking, allowing users to capitalize on escalating exchange rates rather than liquidating their staked collateral, a taxable occurrence. Moreover, Rocket Pool provides smart nodes: specialized node software enabling anyone to operate a node on their network. By distributing losses from underperforming nodes across the network, users minimize the risk of incurring penalties. This feature is bolstered by the pool’s open-source, audited smart contracts, which ensure fully autonomous staking and optimal decentralization.
Procuring RPL Tokens
RPL Tokens can be securely traded on Binance, the world’s preeminent cryptocurrency exchange in terms of trading volume. RPL Tokens are available on the Binance platform within the RPL/BTC, RPL/USDT, and RPL/BUSD trading pairs. At the time of writing, RPL Tokens were valued at $37.
To acquire RPL Tokens, one must first register with Binance. Upon membership confirmation, cryptocurrency or fiat currency should be transferred to the Binance account wallet. Following the transfer’s completion, RPL Tokens can be purchased using any of the aforementioned currencies. To procure RPL Tokens from the RPL/USDT trading pair, navigate to the corresponding interface. Within the RPL/USDT interface, input the desired purchase amount in the field specified in the limit tab. After stipulating the amount, execute the purchase with the Buy RPL order.
