The British Museum, a cultural and art museum located in the capital of England, London, has announced a partnership with the French venture LaCollection, the museum’s licensing partner, and the Ethereum-based Metaverse game, The Sandbox, to create their own NFT collections. According to the announcement, the partnership will enable the British Museum to create its digital space in The Sandbox.

According to the announcement, through this partnership, the British Museum, like many global brands and corporate companies that have partnered with The Sandbox in previous years, will create its own space on the platform.
Sebastien Borget, the COO and co-founder of The Sandbox, stated in his comments on the partnership that with the created NFT collection and digital spaces, anyone will be able to visit the British Museum regardless of their location and time.
