The cryptocurrency market started the new week with a rise as BTC exceeded the $26,000 levels during the day. Most altcoins in the cryptocurrency market have recorded value increases at various rates since the morning hours, and there have also been cryptocurrencies that have recorded double-digit value increases within the last 24 hours.
Ethereum (ETH) has started trading at around $1640 with its recent value increases. The total market value of the cryptocurrency ecosystem has risen to $1.05 trillion, according to CoinMarketCap (CMC) data.
In addition, the cryptocurrency market started the week with low volatility. According to Coinglass data, a total of $40 million worth of short and long positions were liquidated in the cryptocurrency market within the last 24 hours.

With the upward trend in the cryptocurrency market and the value increases in the leading cryptocurrency BTC, there have been cryptocurrencies that have achieved a strong upward momentum and recorded value increases close to double digits during the day. Rocket Pool (RPL), Synthetix (SNX), and Stellar (XLM) were among the cryptocurrencies with the highest market value among the top 100 cryptocurrencies, according to CMC data, with the highest percentage increase of the day.
However, despite Bitcoin surpassing the $26,000 levels during the day and the cryptocurrency market showing a renewed upward trend, there have also been cryptocurrencies that continued to lose value during the day. Gala (GALA), THORChain (RUNE), and Astar (ASTR) were among the cryptocurrencies with the highest market value among the top 100 cryptocurrencies, with the highest percentage decrease of the day.
