Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has announced that selected Binance Earn products will undergo a system upgrade to improve overall system performance and stability. Prior to the system upgrade, several services offered to users, including ETH Staking, DeFi Staking, Automatic Investment, and Binary Investment, will be temporarily suspended and closed for transactions.
Temporary Suspension of Multiple Binance Services
Leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will perform a planned system upgrade on selected Binance Earn products on September 20th between 09:00 and 12:00 (GMT+3) to enhance general system performance and stability.
During the system upgrade, all Liquid Swap services, including Swap Farming, adding or removing liquidity in Likidite Farming, and redeeming liquidity pool rewards in Likidite Farming, will be temporarily suspended and put on hold.
Binance has warned users that intermittent interruptions may occur in DeFi Staking, Simple Earn products, BNB Vault, Automatic Investment, Binary Investment, and ETH Staking subscriptions and payments, as well as in the wrapped function offered in ETH Staking.
Important Considerations for System Upgrade
Binance has added that the calculation and distribution of rewards for Binance Earn users will not be affected by the system upgrade. The cryptocurrency exchange also stated that cryptocurrency purchases planned through existing Automatic Investment plans may experience delays during the system upgrade, but they will be automatically executed once the upgrade is completed if deemed appropriate.
Furthermore, the cryptocurrency exchange has warned that the planned system upgrade may be completed earlier or later than expected. All services affected by and temporarily suspended during the system upgrade will be restarted and made available for use immediately after the completion of the upgrade. No additional announcements will be made regarding the resumption of suspended services.
