The closely followed crypto analyst and trader Rekt Capital has analyzed the current situation of Bitcoin (BTC), Solana (SOL), and altcoins in general. While issuing some warnings, the analyst shared his latest predictions for the overall cryptocurrency market.
Analyst’s Comments on Bitcoin
The anonymous crypto analyst Rekt Capital told his followers on social media that Bitcoin is facing an important moment. He added, “The time for confrontation in Bitcoin has come. The green arrows indicate that the bottom level has been retested as support effectively, but the recent recovery could turn the old bottom level into new resistance. A daily candle close above the bottom level followed by the next weekly candle close will confirm the recovery.”
With the latest data, BTC has seen a 4.19% increase in the last 24 hours, trading at $41,743. This means that the largest cryptocurrency is currently above the bottom level indicated by the analyst.
An Upcoming “Altcoin Hype” Cycle Could Offer Big Opportunities, According to the Analyst
Rekt Capital emphasized that a jump in Bitcoin could significantly affect the altcoin market cycle, stating “Doubts about an altcoin hype cycle occurring in the first quarter of the year have increased. Today BTC rose over 3%, and suddenly hopes have been rekindled. The fact is, Bitcoin may continue to fluctuate like a seesaw in the short term, but this should not affect your outlook for the coming weeks.”
The analyst delved into the depths of the altcoin hype cycle, sharing a significant chart and asking, “Is the altcoin hype about to rise again? Do you think the altcoin hype cycle expected in the first quarter of the year is slowly approaching? Low excitement is the highest financial opportunity (green). The highest excitement is the highest financial risk (red).”
Focusing on Solana (SOL) in particular, Rekt Capital suggested that the altcoin might see some more pullback before continuing its rally. In his general comment on SOL, the analyst said, “Solana is following the orange path perfectly. It has risen 15% since the green zone.”
