Cryptocurrency market watchers are paying attention to Ark Invest, which has raised its optimistic Bitcoin $104,408 price prediction for 2030 to $2.4 million. This new projection stems from the company’s innovative modeling approach aimed at analyzing Bitcoin’s liquid supply more accurately, surpassing its previous estimate of $1.5 million.
New Model Offers Bolder Data
In a report prepared by Ark Invest analyst David Puell, the previous price forecast for 2030 was noted to be around $1.5 million. However, the experimental methods used in the latest study present a more realistic view by excluding Bitcoin’s long-held or lost supply.

The report highlights that this new model, noted for its aggressive approach, could propel the Bitcoin price to $2.4 million by year-end, reflected as a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 72%. According to the same model, Bitcoin is expected to reach $1.2 million in a base scenario, while even the worst-case scenario suggests a level of $500,000.

These figures cover projections from the end of 2024 to 2030. Puell emphasized that traditional valuation models fail to adequately account for Bitcoin’s scarcity and lost supply.
Institutional Investors Will Drive Major Impact
According to Ark Invest’s aggressive scenario, the largest influence on Bitcoin’s rise will come from the entry of institutional investors into the market. The company’s analysis suggests that this group of investors has the potential to elevate Bitcoin beyond its identity as “digital gold.”

Conservative forecasts, however, still rely on the digital gold function. It is notably pointed out that Bitcoin is beginning to replace traditional safe havens like the US dollar, especially for investors in developing countries. The report indicates that individuals with internet access can invest in the leading cryptocurrency to protect against depreciation of national currencies, thanks to low entry barriers.
The analysis claims that Bitcoin is not merely a speculative asset but has become a means of enhancing individual financial freedom in countries experiencing economic instability. As such, Bitcoin’s value appreciation is influenced not only by technological or investor behaviors but also by socioeconomic conditions.
