Binance has unveiled a new altcoin, Babylon (BABY), as part of its HODLer Airdrops program targeting BNB coin holders. The project stands out with its BTC staking infrastructure, which allows users to maintain their assets on the Bitcoin $93,633 network. It aims to enhance the security of Proof of Stake (PoS) blockchains, offering a unique proposition in the cryptocurrency space.
Details of BABY Coin’s Binance Listing
Babylon (BABY) is set to be listed on Binance on April 10, 2025, at 1:00 PM (UTC). Users will have the opportunity to trade BABY coin against various pairs, including USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY. Marked with a “seed tag,” this altcoin will indicate its position as an early-stage project, allowing users to understand its developmental phase.

Additionally, Spot Algo Orders will be activated with the commencement of trading, while trading bots and copy trading features will be accessible within 24 hours. The initial total supply of Babylon is set at 10 billion BABY coins, which is expected to increase over time. An annual inflation rate of 8% is projected for the first year, with subsequent rates determined by community governance. At the time of listing, the total supply will rise to 10.15 billion BABY, with approximately 2.294 billion BABY in circulation, representing 22.9% of the total supply.

For Binance HODLer Airdrops, users’ past BNB holdings are utilized. This system allows users to earn rewards simply by holding BNB coins without any additional actions required.
To qualify for rewards, users must invest in BNB through Simple Earn (either flexible or locked) or On-Chain Yields products. However, certain countries and regions, including Australia, Canada, the USA, Japan, and Russia, are excluded from participating in this program, and accounts without KYC verification will not be eligible for reward distributions.
