Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, has made a surprise move for 12 altcoins. Following user requests, the exchange announced it would restart withdrawal services for these delisted altcoins, including Aion (AION), Beam (BEAM), and Bitcoin Diamond (BCD).
Withdrawal Services to Restart for 12 Delisted Altcoins
The giant cryptocurrency exchange Binance has announced that it will restart withdrawal services for 12 altcoins due to user demand. Accordingly, Binance will resume withdrawals for Aion (AION), Beam (BEAM), Bitcoin Diamond (BCD), GoChain (GO), Neblio (NEBL), Nebulas (NAS), Neutrino Token (NSBT), Nexus (NXS), Viacoin (VIA), Skycoin (SKY), Songbird (SGB), and YOYOW (YOYO).
The cryptocurrency exchange will start the withdrawal process for these altcoins on December 5 at 03:00 AM local time, and withdrawals can be made until the last date of December 26 at 02:59 AM local time. After the specified end date and time, none of these delisted altcoins will be supported for withdrawal operations.
USDT Conversion for 7 Altcoins
Furthermore, Binance announced that it will convert seven altcoins, limited to BEAM, BCD, GO, NEBL, NAS, NSBT, and SGB, to USDT based on the assets in users’ Binance wallets until December 26 at 03:00 AM local time. These listed altcoins will be converted to an equivalent amount of USDT after December 26 at 02:59 AM local time.
The conversion process of altcoins to USDT will be periodically carried out based on average prices between December 26 at 03:00 AM local time and June 26, 2024, at 02:59 AM local time until completed.
There will be no conversion to USDT for AION, NXS, VIA, SKY, and YOYO. Withdrawal services for these altcoins will not be supported after December 26 at 02:59 AM local time, nor will a conversion process be available.
